Dacoit box office collection day 6: Adivi Sesh, Mrunal Thakur film lags behind Major; collects ₹26 crore

Dacoit’s sixth day at the box office: Shaneil Deo’s Adivi Sesh, Mrunal Thakur, and Anurag Kashyap’s movie got mixed reviews when it came out.

A Love Story, starring Adivi Sesh, Thakur, and Anurag Kashyap, was in theaters for the sixth day. The movie has been doing well since it came out last Friday, even though it has gotten mixed reviews. It had the best opening for A, but it is still behind his highest-grossing movie, “Major.”

Dacoit’s box office earnings
According to the trade website Sacnilk, DAcoit made 1.10 crore net on Wednesday, bringing its total in India to 26.60 crore. The movie made more money than HIT: The Second Case’s lifetime net of 25.92 crore, but it still hasn’t caught up to Major. In India, the patriotic action movie made 30.65 crore in six days.

It opened to 6.55 crore and made a little more money over the weekend, bringing in 6.85 crore on Saturday and 40 crore on Sunday. There was 2.70 crore on Monday and a small increase the next day, with a total of 3. However, earnings fell on Wednesday.

Adivi Sesh on reviews that were both good and bad

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Sesh said that Dacoit had the best opening of his career, but it didn’t get the same kind of reviews as Goodachari or Major. He said, “In the past, critics have always loved me, whether it was Major or one of my other movies.” This time, I didn’t get the same bad reviews. But what we got was the biggest opening of my life. And most of the time, mid-range heroes fall hard on a Sunday or Monday, but we’re rising on a Tuesday instead. So, for me, the audience response has been amazing.

A Little About Dacoit
Shaneil Deo directed Dacoit, which was filmed in both Hindi and Telugu at the same time. Sesh co-wrote the movie. Supriya Yarlagadda makes it at Annapurna Studios. The movie also stars Prakash Raj, Sunil, Zayn Marie Khan, and Atul Kulkarni. The movie came out in theaters on April 10 and got mixed reviews. It is about a prisoner who breaks out of jail to get back at his ex-lover. He starts a string of robberies to get back at her, but things change when he sees her again. Since it came out, Dacoit has made more than 41 crore around the world.

The last time anyone saw Sesh was in the movies Major and HIT: The Second Case in 2022. He is now working on G2, the follow-up to Goodachari.
